I’ve started a new project that is continuing the theme of community. Over the last few months I have started to document an area of Gloucester called Barton & Tredworth. Statistically it’s the most economically deprived district within the city. It’s also home to the cities largest multicultural population. With as many as 65 different nationalities all co-existing within the area’s densely populated boundaries.
Many of these communities have become integral to the area’s character and have established a network of strong community initiatives. With the collaboration of these organisations I’m exploring the diversity of Barton & Tredworth through the people who call this area of Gloucester home.
