Cotswold market Garden

During Lockdown it was plain to see that many people were choosing to reconnect with nature. To embrace the more simplistic existence that the pandemic was imposing on society.
As a photographic response I started to explore projects around the themes of connection and community.
One area of exploration is the renewed interest in localised production of food, specifically when it is intended to supply a single community.
Cotswold Market Garden is one such local producer. Started by James Butterworth in 2019, who until recently was an academic at Oxford University. Now pursuing a new life path as a market gardener with a philosophy to supply his immediate community with his hand grown organic veg.
